High performance interface for SD/MMC memory cards

CoreMMC provides a MultiMedia Card (MMC) controller to interface with external MMC flash cards and eMMC devices. The CoreMMC controller allows you to store theboot images and boot the processor from the removable flash card. You can also use the flash card to expand the on-board storage capacity for larger applications or store the user data. Other applications include interfacing with embedded MMC (eMMC) non-removable flash devices. The core is parameterized to allow user specifications of MMC clock as MMC data bus width and FIFO depth among others and is conformant to the JEDEC eMMC 4.41 Standard Specification.
