Low Drop-Out Regulator (LDO) in GLOBALFOUNDRIES 22FDX
It is based on a modular planet/satellite structure. One LDO Planet is required to provide required bias and control of one or several LDO Satellites. Each LDO Satellite can provide 50uA (typ) current. If a higher current is required, multiple Satellites can be easily made parallel plug and play (e.g. 2x to provide 100uA typ. current).
The LDO is unconditionally stable for all load capacitances. Since off-current of the IP is less than 1.5nA, this makes the LDO a suitable candidate for system-on-chip (SoC) designed for IoT applications.
